Book Talk- CSI:Killing Game

Summary
Killing Game
By: Max Allan Collins

Killing Game started with two separate and brutal murders of an old, rich woman and younger, poor lady. The book is detailed so perfectly to where you can imagine every aspect, or as if you were there looking at the crime scene. The older woman, Mrs. Salfer, seemed to have been strangled to death, and the young woman, Angie Dearborn, was beaten to death. It is very difficult to summarize the story without giving away too much of the ending. With every step the CSI's made to solve their cases, they realized those two murders were starting to connect. However, the CSI's had trouble connecting the actual two victims. Many suspects were taken in to count including Dearborn's ex-husband, who used to have a drug addiction and an abusive past with Angie. A large aspect of this book had to do with the subject of money. Before Mrs. Salfer passed, she had a will written that all of her money would have gone to her nephew, however that changed right before she died and her money was given to someone else. Someone unexpected, and some others didn't agree with it.

Killing Game was an amazing and mysterious book. I really enjoy books that keep you on your toes, and I was never able to really predict what was going to happen next. The intensity of detail and precision in this book was just impeccable. Drawing in more than 4 suspects, you couldn't tell who really murdered someone at any point, you just had to keep reading. Another thing about Killing Game is I never wanted to put the book down. I am not an avid reader, but this book I just wanted to keep going and not stop, from cover to cover. The book itself is like an ongoing juicy secret. You never want to hear half of a good secret, you want to know who, what, when, where, why, and how. The book describes everything, and the irony in it just made me love it as well. I would definitely recommend reading Killing Game.
